SOUTH WALTON MONTESSORI ACADEMY students decorated the children’s bedroom of the historic Wesley mansion at Eden Gardens State Park. The mansion in Point Washington is looking a lot like Christmas thanks to dozens of volunteers representing 10 separate businesses and organizations. The decorating took place on Nov. 19, with a flurry of activity and good will. (Photo by Jeffrey Powell)

A FANCY HAT OR BONNET IS AS IMPORTANT as Earl Grey or scones with clotted cream if one is to enjoy a proper English tea. The Chautauqua Hall of Brotherhood in DeFuniak Springs was packed with visitors for a traditional English afternoon tea, itself a yearly tradition in DeFuniak Springs as holidays approach.
