LISA GIERLINSKI (l) AND LACEY WOODHAM , dressed in period attire, greeted guests at the Chautauqua Hall of Brotherhood. The guests signed their names and from where they were visiting. This was part of the DeFuniak Springs Snowbird Day on Jan. 16, where the city showed its appreciation of the area’s winter visitors.


SHOPPERS LOOK OVER and pick through trees for their landscaping needs. Fruit trees are always a big seller for the yearly event, the Master Gardeners Tree Sale.


READERS AND LIBRARY supporters filled the side room at the fairgrounds, searching through thousands of books to feed their brain. The Friends of the Library held a book sale on Jan. 18.
