The Walton County Board of County Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at 9:00 a.m. or as soon thereafter as may be heard at the Walton County Courthouse, at 571 US Highway 90, DeFuniak Springs, Florida.  The following items will be heard:

QUASI-JUDICIAL ITEMS:

South Walton Business Center Lots 11-13 Replat – Request to approve by final mylar. Project number 16-00300022 is being reviewed by Robert Baronti.  This is a plat development order application submitted by Voelker Surveying requesting to replat lots 11-13 on 2.04+/- acres with a future land use of Light Industrial.  The project is located on the south side of Doudna Road, west of C.R. 393 North and identified by parcel number(s) 27-2S-20-33800-000-0110, 0120 and 0130.

Culver’s Restaurant Final Order Amendment – Request to approve by final order amendment. Project number 16-00100037 is being reviewed by Tim Brown and was approved by the BCC on August 9, 2016.  This amendment is requested by Emerald Coast Associates, Inc. to reduce the Proportionate Fair Share amount based upon updated traffic analysis for the 5,080 square foot restaurant on 1.54 acres with a future land use of Coastal Center Mixed Use.  The project is located on the north side of U.S. Highway 98, east of Professional Place and west of Holiday Road and is identified by parcel number(s) 30-2S-21-42000-001-0017.

Proposed project(s) or plan amendment(s) may be inspected by the public from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday at Walton County Planning and Development Services located at 31 Coastal Center Blvd, Suite 100, Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32549 or 47 North 6th Street, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32435.

Interested parties may appear at the public hearing and be heard with respect to the proposed project(s) or plan amendment(s).
