HOMICIDE SUSPECT Thomas Ford McCoy is wanted by the law for an April 10 shooting death in DeFuniak Springs. Thomas Ford McCoy Jr., 42, is described as a white male, 6 feet, 1 inches in height. He is a resident of Laurel Hill and a former employee of Coca-Cola Bottling Co., of Valparaiso. McCoy was last seen driving a “full-sized silver Dodge truck,” with Florida license plates, tag number L929RF. In the right rear window is displayed a decal of “Cold Drink, Inc.,” the company for which McCoy worked. An unconfirmed report, from WEAR TV 3, had McCoy’s truck being seen at a Wal-Mart in Foley, AL. McCoy is considered armed and dangerous, and law enforcement officials warn the public not to try to make contact with him, but contact law enforcement, (850) 892-8511 or 892-8111.
