On March 5 Walton County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested Anthony McClain Day and charged him with trafficking in hydrocodone, possession of MDMA (Ecstasy) with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana over 20 grams, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of drug paraphernalia, and the possession of precursor chemicals.
The arrest and charges stem from the execution of a search warrant conducted at Day’s residence leading to the discovery of the chemicals and equipment commonly used in the manufacture of methamphetamine along with assorted illegal narcotics. Day, 30, is a registered sexual offender and was in possession of an altered 22-caliber pistol.
