Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, shall consider for adoption at the meeting scheduled for Monday, August 11, 2014, at 6:00 p.m. at the City Hall in DeFuniak Springs, Florida,

AN  ORDINANCE   PROVIDING  FOR   THE  ADDITION  OF CHAPTER THREE, ENTITLED ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, SECTION 3-2 (C) ENTITLED SALE NEAR CHURCHES OR SCHOOLS, WHICH CREATES A WAIVER FOR A RESTAURANT TO SERVE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES WITHIN A 500 FT. DISTANCE OF A CHURCH OR SCHOOL, OF THE DEFUNIAK SPRINGS MUNICIPAL    CODE,   ADOPTING CODES   BY    REFERENCE,   AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

A copy of the proposed Ordinance is available at the City Hall for inspection and all interested persons may appear at the meeting and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinance.
