THE URN AND THE HAND WITH FINGER POINTING TO HEAVEN were taken many years ago and whereabouts unknown. The replacement was supported by funds raised by the Walton County Heritage Association, and individual donors. Bad weather held off in DeFuniak Springs long enough for the re-dedication of the oldest Confederate memorial monument in Florida this past Monday afternoon on April 28, 2014.
