WALK-A-THON COMPLETED, these resting participants have just gone ’round and ’round Lake DeFuniak to raise funds for the Tivoli Historical Society and the Tivoli Museum. This was one of several events that were part of Covenant Hospice’s Easter Egg Hunt, which drew a good-sized crowd to the Lakeyard in DeFuniak Springs last Saturday.

A LARGE GROUP OF PARENTS, staff, and community members attended, on April 15, the first school board district meeting held in the south Walton area in years. The board agreed at a prior meeting to split the twice a month meetings between the DeFuniak district offices and the South Walton High School.
