Staff reports
A train traveling on the railroad track near Mossy Head struck the rear end of a trailer truck at the intersection of U.S. 90 and SR-285 at around 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 3. The trailer truck was reportedly trying to cross U.S. 90, but was blocked by a stopped truck and unable to move out of the path of the train.
