WCSO AND SMOKE-N-BONES BARBECUE RESTAURANT TEAMED UP TO BENEFIT THE SANTA PATROL

ANGIE PAGE (at keyboard) and members of the New Beginnings Church praise and worship team provided the evening’s entertainment. Annually, in the weeks before Christmas, the Walton County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) gears up for its Santa Patrol project. The endeavor is meant to bring a Merry Christmas to those who, due to financial hardships, may otherwise be unable to enjoy the season. This year, with economic situations strained, donations for the project have been below normal. In an effort to make up for this shortfall, the WCSO and the Smoke-N-Bones Barbecue restaurant teamed up to benefit the project. The event was held on Monday, Dec. 15. (Photo by Jeffrey Powell)
