A yes vote was to approve the motion.
Commissioner Brannon was not present for the meeting due to illness.
Presentation by Bill Bard, committee chairman, of a report consisting of the recommendations of the Walton County Animal Control Advisory Committee.
A motion by Comander for acceptance of the report carried 4-0: Comander-yes; Jones-yes; Meadows-yes; Pridgen-yes.
Recommendation by W.C. Henry, county legal counsel, to declare as surplus excess fresh produce grown by county inmates, so that produce might be sold to other governmental agencies or donated to food banks or nonprofit organizations.
A motion for approval by Pridgen carried 4-0.
Public hearing on proposed Beach Highlands Neighborhood Plan.
A motion by Pridgen for approval of the plan carried 4-0.
Public hearing regarding a proposed six-month extension of the current temporary 50-foot height limit on new construction north of the bay.
A motion by Pridgen to approve the six-month extension carried unanimously.
Request by Darrell Barnhill for approval of the Assisi Villas Affordable Housing Small-scale Amendment to change .98 acres on the east side of Thomson Road, approximately 1,400 feet south of U.S. 98, from a Conservation Residential land use classification to Small Neighborhood.
A motion for approval by Pridgen carried 4-0.
