THE PEOPLE'S NATIONAL BANK in DeFuniak Springs was robbed at 10:35 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 4. The suspect allegedly fled the area before police arrived on the scene, making away with an undisclosed amount of money. Two days later, a Panama City Beach man and woman were arrested in connection with the robbery and later admitted to involvement in a string of attempted robberies. (Photo by Reid Tucker)
