NOTICE is hereby given that the WALTON COUNTY TOURIST DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL will hold a TDC Advisory Council Meeting on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at 9:00 a.m at the TDC Conference Room, 25777 U S Hwy 331 S, Santa Rosa Beach.

If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the council with respect to any matter considered, he/she will need a record of the proceedings and may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes that testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.

PETITION FOR ABANDONMENT – Inlet Beach Capital Investments, Inc. is requesting the adoption of a Resolution abandoning the north 13 feet of a 33 foot public ingress/egress and utility easement on the south line of Government Lot 172, Section 36, Township 3 South, Range 18 West, Walton County, Florida.  This easement is located along the north side of West Park Avenue within the property identified by parcel number 36-3S-18-16100-000-1720.
The Planning Commission will make a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners regarding these items either to approve, approve with conditions or to deny.  Any agenda item that is tabled will be scheduled for a future Planning Commission meeting and will not go forward to the Board of County Commissioners until the Planning Commission makes a recommendation.

In accordance with Section 286.26, Florida Statutes, whenever any board or commissioner of any state agency or authority, or of any agency or authority of any county, municipal corporation, or other political subdivision, which has scheduled a meeting at which official acts are to be taken receives, at least 48 hours prior to the meeting, a written request by a physically handicapped person to attend the meeting, directed to the chairperson or director of such board, commission, agency, or authority, such chairperson or director shall provide a manner by which such person may attend the meeting at its scheduled site or reschedule the meeting to a site which would be accessible to such person.

In accordance with Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes, all persons are advised that, if a person decides to appeal any decision made by the board, agency, or commission with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.

NOTICE OF RULE DEVELOPMENT
BY THE SCHOOL BOARD OF
WALTON COUNTY, FLORIDA

The School Board of Walton County, Florida, pursuant to the provisions of Section 120.54, Florida Statutes, hereby gives notice that it is developing four (4) new rules and is amending and revising several existing rules to comply with changes in state and federal law which it proposes to adopt. The proposed new rules deal with the following subject areas:

Rule 5.305 – Dating Violence and Abuse
Rule 5.345 – Use of Time Out, Seclusion and Physical Restraint for Students with Disabilities
Rule 5.90 – Foreign Exchange Students
Rule 6.65 – Nursing Mothers

and to revise and amend the following existing school board rules dealing with the following subject areas:

Rule 3.191 – Temporary Appointment of a Superintendent
Rule 5.30 – Student Control
Rule 5.32 – Zero Tolerance for School Related Crimes
Rule 7.38 – Facsimile Signature

The purpose and effect of the two (2) new rules and the amended and revised rules is to insure that the school board rules be updated to comple with changes in state and federal law.
