EXTRICATION CLASS BEGINS
EXTRICATION CLASS BEGINS next to “volunteer” vehicle. At center, in white t-shirt, is extrication authority Jeff McVay. Once it was determined that everyone in the demo class had had some experience in extrication, the demo moved from the general to the specific. Technical terms and jargon were used, and the demo became a nuts-and-bolts shop-talk session. The demo was slated to last most of the day, and would entail peeling back windshields, accessing doors, and cutting apart panels and bodywork, all according to the particular extrication situation.
