The Walton County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) received a call on June 1 at around 12:04 a.m. from a man and woman living on Woodlands Boulevard. The couple reported that they had returned home and discovered that one of their bedroom windows had been broken out. The suspect ran out of the house and into the woods. As soon as the first deputy arrived and made sure the victims were all right, a perimeter was set up until other deputies arrived.
