PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
The Walton County Code Enforcement Board will hold their regular meeting on November 19, 2009 beginning at 6:00 p.m. to be held at the Coastal Branch Library.
In accordance with Section 286.26, Florida Statutes, whenever any board or commissioner of any state agency or authority, or of any agency or authority of any county, municipal corporation, or other political subdivision, which has scheduled a meeting at which official acts are to be taken receives, at least 48 hours prior to the meeting, a written request by a physically handicapped person to attend the meeting, directed to the chairperson or director of such board, commission, agency, or authority, such chairperson or director shall provide a manner by which such person may attend the meeting at its scheduled site or reschedule the meeting to a site, which would be accessible to such person.

The Department of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Beaches and Coastal Systems, is soliciting public comments on an application for a coastal construction control line permit submitted by Mr. Ezzeldin M. Benghuzzi, P.E., Quantum Engineering Group, Inc., pursuant to Chapter 161.053, Florida Statutes, and 62B-33, Florida Administrative Code.
This application is for the after-the-fact construction of an armoring structure. Project location: Between approximately 100 feet and 250 feet east of the Department of Environmental Protection’s reference monument R-59, in Walton County. Project address: Sea Bluff Condominiums, 2381 West County Road 30-A, Santa Rosa Beach. Plans for this proposed project are available for public inspection or, by appointment, at the office of the Bureau of Beaches and Coastal Systems at 5050 West Tennessee Street, Building B, Tallahassee, Florida, from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
This public comment notice is being distributed in order to assist the Department of Environmental Protection in developing facts on which to base a decision on the permit application. The Design Review Board will make a recommendation on major developments to the Board of County Commissioners regarding these items either to approve, approve with conditions or to deny.
