WCSO INVESTIGATING DEATH OF GASKIN WOMAN
The Walton County Sheriff’s Office and Florida Department of Law Enforcement are involved in a death investigation at a rural home a few miles from the Alabama stateline. At around 9 a.m. on Aug. 17, the WCSO received an E-911 call concerning the suspicious death of an elderly woman inside the residence on State Highway 83 near the Gaskin Community.
The Walton County Sheriff’s Office released the name of the victim, Elizabeth Andrews, 60. Andrews was found by a caregiver inside her SR-83 North home Monday morning.
Authorities are currently searching for Andrews’s vehicle. It’s a 1996 F-350, Ford Dually blue pick-up truck. In addition, there is a front plate with the words “Fear This,” and a chrome tool box in the flatbed. The truck has a Florida license plate with the numbers A658HM.
If anyone sees this vehicle, they should contact the Walton County Sheriff’s Office at 892-8111, or their nearest law enforcement agency. Sheriff’s official’s advise that no one should approach the vehicle.
