WESTERN LAKE is one of an array of unique coastal dune lakes found in Walton County. Located along CR-30A, the lake is approximately 220 acres in size. The communities of Grayton Beach, Seaside and WaterColor share this A cleanup event is planned for Western Lake from 9 a.m. until noon on Saturday, June 13. Participants are to meet at 9 a.m. at the WaterColor Boathouse. They are asked to bring sunscreen, bug repellent, and a reacher/grabber if they have one. Those having canoes or kayaks are invited to bring them. A limited supply of canoes and kayaks will be also be available by reservation by contacting the HOA at (850) 231-2547 or Cosson at (850) 685-8137.
